Many students from overseas prefer to settle in Australia to get an effective and productive career. The new occupation list (STSOL & MLTSSL) has a combined list function to accommodate more than 400 eligible occupations.
To be eligible for skilled immigration to Australia, you must nominate a profession from the MLTSSL.
If you are applying for a general skills immigration visa and have been nominated by the state or regional Government, then in such a case you must nominate an occupation from this list of medium- and long-term strategic skills (MLTSSL) or short-term skills occupation (STSOL).

Note: Applying for the right job and the right VISA is the utmost requirement for international students who want to emigrate to Australia and have the required qualifications.

If you are planning to apply for skilled immigration through a nomination by the state or regional Government then in such a case, you can nominate an occupation from the short-term technical occupation list (STSOL).

But, if you are planning to apply for a General Skilled Immigrant Visa, but are not nominated by the state or territory government, then in such a case, you must nominate a profession from this “MLTSSL”.
